Summary

Biography

2023-24: Was a key part of the Golden Eagles’ team in her final year with the program. Made part of starting lineup and contributor in both singles and doubles. Played at No. 3 and No. 4 singles and at No. 2 doubles. Picked up wins at both singles positions and also had a pair of doubles victories in dual matches. Had a 2-7 record at No. 2 doubles with Sakura Kurokawa. Posted a win at No. 3 singles and paired with Lea Rolland for a win at No. 3 doubles in a 7-0 victory over Chaminade on March 28. An outstanding student, earned Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar-Athlete honors for a second straight season and was instrumental in Cal State LA earning an ITA All-Academic Team award. Earned a 2023-24 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award. Also earned 2023-24 Academic All-PacWest Conference honors. For her career, had a 9-23 overall record in doubles, including a 9-21 record in dual matches. Had a 5-30 mark in singles, including a 4-28 record in dual matches.

2022-23: Made a big impact for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Was a steady contributor in singles and doubles. Had a 6-5 record at No. 2 doubles with Hideka Takamura and a 6-8 record in doubles overall. Split her time at No. 3 and No. 4 singles and had a pair of singles wins in dual matches and a 1-2 record in fall tournament play. Had an overall record in singles of 3-16, including 2-14 in dual matches. Made her Cal State LA dual match debut and had a key three-set win in a 5-2 victory over Westmont on Feb. 3. Also picked up a doubles point in that match. An outstanding student, earned an ITA Scholar-Athlete Award from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association for 2022-23 and was instrumental in Cal State LA earning an ITA All-Academic Team award. Earned a 2022-23 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award. Also earned 2022-23 Academic All-PacWest Conference honors. Is part of the National Society of Leadership and Success, which is the largest and most prestigious group in the United States. Has made the President’s and Dean’s Lists every year in college so far.

At Longwood University: Competed in 21 singles matches and three doubles contests in two seasons for the Division I program. Was a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success, the Honors College and the President’s and Dean’s Lists.

At Club Med Academies: Competed in tennis and was top-60 in Romania for Under-18 players.

Personal: Daughter of Catalin and Sorina Hincu. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys bodybuilding and CrossFit. Lists winning matches for her team in tennis and placing in the top five in her height in her first competition in bodybuilding in the biggest amateur show in the world as her most exciting experiences in sports. Notes she speaks three languages fluently and started traveling and living in different places around the world by herself since she was 16 years old.
