Summary

Biography

2024: Had another outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Appeared in all 18 games with seven starts. Played a career-high 830 minutes. Had two assists for two points. Picked up her first assist of the season on a goal by Mia Del Muro in the 23rd minute of a 3-1 win at Stanislaus State on Oct. 6. Recorded her second assist on a goal by Carisa Raygoza in the 80th minute against Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 17. Played a season-high 76 minutes in a 0-0 tie against Cal State East Bay on Oct. 25. Got her first start of the season and played 69 minutes at Cal State San Bernardino. Started the final seven games of the season. For her career, appeared in 58 games with 14 starts. Played a total of 2,349 minutes. Had one goal and two assists for four points.

2023: Had another strong season for the Golden Eagles in her third year of competition with the program. Appeared in 20 games and started four times. Played a total of 859 minutes. Had one goal for two points. Scored the first goal of her Cal State LA career in a 2-1 win over Biola on Sept. 13. Stole a clearing attempt and drilled a shot to the near post, just under the crossbar to open the scoring in the 39th minute. Started Cal State LA’s first two games of the season – at Concordia on Aug. 31 and Point Loma on Sept. 2 – and final two in NCAA Tournament games against Simon Fraser on Nov. 16 and Seattle Pacific on Nov. 18. Played a career-high 104 minutes in the game against Simon Fraser and 83 minutes against Seattle Pacific.

2022: Made significant contributions for the Golden Eagles in her second year of competition with the program. Appeared in 19 games and started three times. Played a total of 590 minutes. Made her first career start and played a career-high 47 minutes in a season-opening 1-0 win over Cal Poly Pomona on Aug. 27. Also started and played 47 minutes against Azusa Pacific on Sept. 1. Made her third start and played 36 minutes in a 1-0 win at Chico State on Oct. 2.

2021: Made her Cal State LA debut in her first year of competition for the Golden Eagles. Appeared against Cal State San Bernardino on Sept. 6 and played seven minutes.

2020: Was on the roster, but team did not compete due to COVID-19.

At Lawndale High School: Was named the Mulholland League Player of the Year and was awarded her team’s Rookie of the Year award. Earned first-team All-League honors. Was on the Principal’s Honor Roll all four years in high school.

Personal: Daughter of Gerardo Hernandez and Maria Rodriguez. Majoring in aviation administration. Enjoys going to the beach. Lists going to Mexico and competing in the Mexican Youth Olympics and winning bronze as her most exciting experience in sports.
