Summary

Biography

2019: Concluded her Cal State LA career with a strong season. Scored one of the team’s biggest goals of the season when she knocked in her own rebound to lift the Golden Eagles past Western Washington, 1-0, in overtime on Sept. 16. Appeared in 17 games and started seven times. Had one goal and two assists for four points. Had an assist on Ashtyn Bracamonte’s goal in a 2-1 win over Stanislaus State on Sept. 27 and had an assist on a goal by Paulina Chaidez in a 5-0 win at San Francisco State on Nov. 7. For her career, appeared in a total of 69 games and started 18 times. Played a total of 2,991 minutes. Scored 10 goals with eight assists for a total of 28 points.  

2018: Had a promising return from injury and was one of the team’s top offensive threats. Scored two goals and had a total of four points. Was sixth on the team in scoring. Scored the opening goal on a penalty kick in a 2-0 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sept. 26. Got the game-winning goal in the 78th minute of a 2-1 victory at San Francisco State on Sept. 28. Appeared in 15 games with one start.

2017: Did not compete in any games due to an injury and was a redshirt.

2016: Had an outstanding second season with the Golden Eagles and earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honorable mention. Had five goals and three assists for a total of 13 points. Had one game-winning goal, the lone tally in a 1-0 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 5. Scored her first goal of the season at Azusa Pacific on Sept. 10. Added single goals in back-to-back 2-0 wins over Cal State East Bay on Sept. 16 and Stanislaus State on Sept. 18. Also had a goal at Cal State San Marcos on Oct. 16. Had an assist on Tatiana Zuvic’s goal in a CCAA Tournament first-round win at Cal State San Bernardino on Nov. 1.

2015: Was one of the top freshman players in the conference for the Golden Eagles. Played in all 18 games with two starts. Earned All-CCAA honorable mention. Finished the season with two goals and three assists for seven points. Was second on the team in scoring. Got her first goal of the season in a 1-1 tie against Hawaii-Hilo on Oct. 7. Her second goal was a big one, the game-winner in overtime of a 3-2 win over Chico State on Oct. 11. Had an assist on the game-winning goal at San Francisco State on Oct. 16 and assisted on one of the team’s biggest goals of the season, a game-winner by Victoria Arredondo, in the second overtime of a 2-1 win at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 23.

2014: Did not compete in any games for the Golden Eagles and was a redshirt.

At William J Pete Knight High School: Earned All-Valley and first-team All-League honors. Competed in soccer and swimming.

Personal: Daughter of Ramiro and Jonnie Duran. Majoring in sociology/communications. Enjoys hanging out with her family and friends. Lists playing with the Mexican national team as her most exciting experience in sports. Was a former vice-president of Cal State LA’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
