Summary

Biography

2021-22: Had another outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honorable mention, receiving All-CCAA recognition for a second time. Named to the CCAA Championships All-Tournament team after finishing fifth in the conference tourney and helping the team to a program-best second-place finish. Shared the lead after one round and was in contention throughout the 54-hole tournament. Shot rounds of 76-78-75 for a total of 229. Competed in 10 tournaments and a total of 22 rounds. Was second on the team with a scoring average of 77.55. Turned in a career-low round of 70 and a 36-hole best of 146 while finishing in a tie for eighth at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic on April 1-2. For her career, played in 16 tournaments and a total of 34 rounds. Had a scoring average of 77.35.

2020-21: Was on the roster, but team did not compete due to COVID-19.

2019-20: Had a historic season for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Became the first player in program history to earn first-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. Was one of the top newcomers in the conference and the team's No. 1 golfer before the season was cut short. Competed in six tournaments and a total of 12 rounds. Led the team with a scoring average of 77.0. Had a pair of top-five finishes in three tournaments in the spring, including a tie for fifth at Cal State San Marcos' Fujikura Invitational on March 9 against some of the best golfers in the region. Shot rounds of 74 and 75 for a total of 149. Also had a fourth-place finish at Point Loma's Sea Lion Invitational on Feb. 3-4 with a 36-hole total of 151. In six spring rounds, shot 74 three times and 75 once and had a low 36-hole score of 149. Had a top-10 finish in the fall with a tie for ninth at the Sonoma Fall Invitational after rounds of 76-76. Was named Cal State LA’s 2019-20 Female Newcomer of the Year.

At Fresno State: Attended as a freshman, but did not compete in any tournaments.

At Davis High School: Was the Delta League Most Valuable Player from 2015-17. Earned All-Delta League honors all four years in high school. Was a 2017 IMG Junior World Championship Qualifier. Secured a Top-10 finish at the California Women’s Championship in 2016. Captured 11 Junior Golf Association of Northern California titles.

Personal: Daughter of David Dean and Kristy Soloway. Majoring in communications. Enjoys golfing, cooking, taking trips to Palm Springs, and spending time with friends, family and her Golden Retriever, Lucy. Lists playing in the Junior Worlds at Torrey Pines as her most exciting experience in sports. Notes she has three siblings, Emma, Spencer and Andrew.
