Summary

Biography

2024-25: Had her best season yet for the Golden Eagles in her third year with the program. Competed in 10 tournaments and 25 rounds and was the team’s No. 1 golfer with a scoring average of 74.88. Earned first-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors for the first time and made the CCAA Championships All-Tournament team after finishing in a tie for third after rounds of 83-74-69 for a score of 226. The 69 was the low round of the tournament. Set a new program record with a round of 67 at the National Preview on Oct. 7-8. Shot rounds of 73-67-71 and finished 13th with a score of 211. Held the opening-round lead for the first time in her career and finished fifth at the LA Spring Kickoff on Feb. 3-4 with a score of 146 after rounds of 69 and 77. Finished in a tie for 22nd at the NCAA West Regional on May 5-7 after rounds of 75-75-73 for a score of 223. Had four top-10 finishes and two top-five finishes. Earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors for a second time as well as a 2024-25 Women’s Golf Coaches Association All-American Scholar Award. Also earned a 2024-25 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award, 2024-25 CCAA All-Academic honors and 2025 CCAA Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition.

2023-24: Had another outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in her second year with the program. Was the team’s No. 2 golfer with a scoring average of 75.82 over nine tournaments and 22 rounds. Scoring average was three-and-a-half shots better than her average in 2022-23. Had her best career finish with a tie for third at the Sonoma State Spring Invite on April 8-9 after rounds of 78 and 75 for a total of 153. Earned California Collegiate Athletic Association Golfer of the Week honors for the first time in her career for the week of April 3-9. Shot her best 36-hole total of 147 while finishing in a tie for 16th at the RJGA Shootout at Estrella on Sept. 18-19. Lowered her best 18-hole score to 73 five times, including the final rounds of the CCAA Championships and NCAA West Regionals. Finished 15th at the CCAA Championships with a score of 230 after rounds of 77, 80 and 73 on April 22-24 and finished in a tie for 15th at the NCAA West Regionals after rounds of 74, 73, 73 on May 6-8. Was the team’s top player at the NCAA Regionals and just missed qualifying for nationals as an individual. Had another strong academic showing, earning a 2023-24 Women’s Golf Coaches Association’s All-American Scholar award and Academic All-District honors from the College Sports Communicators. Earned a 2023-24 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award. Earned 2023-24 CCAA All-Academic honors and 2024 CCAA Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition.

2022-23: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Became one of the team’s top golfers and one of the best first-year players in the CCAA. Competed in eight tournaments for the Golden Eagles and 16 rounds. Had an average score of 79.31 that was No. 3 on the team. Had her best finish with a tie for ninth at the rain-shortened Bay Area Invitational on Feb. 20. Shot a round of 77. Shot a 75 for her low round of the year in the opening round of the Patriot Invitational on March 20-21. Had her best 36-hole total of 156 while finishing in a tie for 22nd at the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational on March 6-7. Shot rounds of 78-78. Finished in a tie for 20th at the CCAA Championships after rounds of 83-79-79 for a 54-hole total of 241. An outstanding student as well, earned WGCA All-American Scholar and 2022-23 CCAA All-Academic honors. Made the Dean’s List both semesters.

At Warren High School: Was a three-time San Gabriel Valley League champion, a four-time CIF individual qualifier and a three-time CIF Regional State qualifier and a one-time CIF Championship qualifier. Was the 2022 Golden Bear winner for girls athletics and the school’s 2021-22 Female Athlete of the Year.

Personal: Daughter of Jorge and Aracely Ayala. Majoring in animation. Enjoys creating golf content on Instagram. Lists finishing third at the CCAA Championships in 2025 with a final round of 69, breaking the team record for lowest 18-hole score with a 67 at the National Preview in Nevada in 2024, recording the lowest scoring average on the team in 2024-25 at 74.88 and having four top-10 finishes in 2024-25 as her most exciting experiences in sports.  Notes she is a huge Lakers fan and her favorite athletes are Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Kobe Bryant, Simone Biles and Austin Reeves. Says she is also a huge Carrie Underwood fan.
