Summary

Biography

2024-25: Had her best season for the Golden Eagles in her third and final year with the program. Competed in four tournaments, including two as part of Cal State LA’s starting five, and a total of 10 rounds. Had a scoring average of 77.41. Shot a 1-under-par 71 in the final round of the National Preview on Oct. 7-8. Had rounds of 78-77-71 for a total of 226. Shot her best 36-hole score of 153 after finishing 35th with rounds of 75 and 78 at the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout on Feb. 24-25. Also had a score of 154 while finishing in a tie for 31st at the LA Spring Kickoff on Feb. 3-4 after rounds of 74 and 80. Earned a 2024-25 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award, 2024-25 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors and 2025 Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition. For her career, played in eight tournaments and 19 rounds and had a scoring average of 78.95. Had a best round of 71 and a best 36-hole score of 153.

2023-24: Made contributions for the Golden Eagles in her second year with the program. Competed in three tournaments, including one as part of Cal State LA’s starting five. Had a scoring average of 80.88. Finished in a tie for 51st at the CSUSM Fujikura Invitational with a 54-hole score of 241 on March 11-12. Shot a career-best 76 in the opening round. Opened the season and finished in a tie for 52nd as an individual at the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout with a 36-hole total of 160 on Feb. 26-27. Shot consecutive rounds of 80. Also competed as an individual at the Poppy Hills Invitational and finished in a tie for 56th with a 54-hole score of 246 on March 18-19. Shot rounds of 83, 80 and 83. Also excelled once again academically. Earned a 2023-24 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award. Also earned 2023-24 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors and 2023 CCAA Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition. Also made the Dean’s List both semesters.

2022-23: Had a promising season for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Competed well in her lone tournament appearance. Shot a round of 79 in the Bay Area Invitational and finished the rain-shortened tournament in a tie for 20th. Was a positive and encouraging teammate. Also had an outstanding year academically. Earned 2022-23 CCAA All-Academic honors and made the Dean’s List both semesters.

At Grossmont High School: Competed in golf and softball. Played on the varsity team in golf all four years. As a freshman, became the school’s first female golfer to reach CIF since 2003. Was the team’s captain as a junior and senior. Qualified for CIF competition all four years in high school and earned first-team All-League and All-Scholastic Team honors all four years as well. Was the Player of the Year in 2021. As a freshman, earned Player of the Year honors in softball as a shortstop. Made the school’s Honor Roll all four years. Earned a Presidential Education Award and a Biliteracy Seal in Spanish.

Personal: Daughter of Mitch and Rida Freeman. Majoring in psychology. Enjoys going to the beach, reading, and playing basketball. Lists playing at Poppy Hills in a college tournament as her most exciting experience in sports.
