Summary

Biography

2021-22: Had another strong season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Competed in six tournaments and a total of 12 rounds. Had a scoring average of 82.83, which was sixth on the team. Shot a season-low round of 79 in the opening round of the RJGA Shootout at Estrella on Sept. 27 and in the opening round of the Visit Stockton Invitational on Feb. 14. Had a low 36-hole total of 160 after rounds of 80 and 80 at the Point Loma Invitational on Sept. 13-14. Earned 2022 California Collegiate Athletic Association Spring Honor Roll recognition. For her career, played in 21 tournaments and a total of 42 rounds. Had a scoring average of 82.88.

2020-21: Earned 2020-21 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors and also received 2021 CCAA Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition. Earned Dean’s List honors in fall of 2020 and spring of 2021. Team did not compete due to COVID-19.

2019-20: Had a second strong season for the Golden Eagles before the year was halted. Competed in six tournaments and a total of 12 rounds. Had a scoring average of 83.83, which was fifth on the team. Shot a season-low 77 in the opening round of the Fujikama Invitational and finished in a tie for 31st with a season’s-best 36-hole total of 159 on March 9. Earned 2019-20 CCAA All-Academic honors.

2018-19: Had an outstanding first season with the Golden Eagles. Was named Cal State LA’s Freshman of the Year. Finished in a tie for 15th at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with a 54-hole total of 234. Shot rounds of 76, 79 and 79 in the tournament. Played a total of 18 rounds and had a scoring average of 82.27, which was second on the team. Shot a season-low 76 in the first round of the CCAA Championships and had a low 36-hole score of 155.

At Oak Ridge High School: Earned All-League honors in 2016 and 2017 and was the team captain as a senior. Shot a 73 in the First Tee Tournament and won a playoff to qualify for the Optimist International Junior Golf Championship at PGA National in Florida. Competed in the NorCal High School tournament three years in a row and played four years of varsity golf. Team finished in first place at the Sierra High Invitational and she finished in the top-10 with a score of 79. Set a record for low round during her junior season of 35 for nine holes at Empire Ranch. Took third place in the Mather GC First Tee Tournament with a round of 78 and took second place at the Morgan Creek CC First Tee Tournament with a 78. Was a three-year All-League medalist. Was an Academics Honor Roll participant. 

Personal: Daughter of Greg and Shannon Clark. Majoring in graphic design. Enjoys skiing, snowboarding, reading, drawing, skateboarding, hanging out with friends, being outside, watching movies, painting and growing plants. Lists winning a playoff against two other players as her most exciting experience in sports. Says there was a ton of pressure, but she narrowed her focus and sunk a 20-foot putt for birdie to win the tournament.
