Summary

Biography

2021-22: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Competed in 10 tournaments and a total of 22 rounds. Had a scoring average of 80.68, which was fourth on the team. Finished in a tie for 23rd with a 54-hole score of 245 while helping the team to a program-best second-place finish at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships on April 11-13. Shot a 77 on the third day of the championships for her best round of the tournament. Shot a career-low 74 in three tournaments: the opening round of the RJGA Shootout at Estrella on Sept. 27, in the opening round of the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout on Feb. 28 and the final round of the RJGA Palm Valley Classic on April 2. Had a career-low 36-hole total of 150 at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic after finishing in a tie for 27th after rounds of 76-74. Earned All-American Scholar recognition from the Women’s Golf Coaches Association. Earned 2022 CCAA Spring Honor Roll recognition. For her career, appeared in 25 tournaments and a total 52 rounds. Had a scoring average of 82.50.

2020-21: Earned 2020-21 CCAA All-Academic honors and also received 2021 CCAA Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition. Team did not compete due to COVID-19.

2019-20: Had a second strong season for the Golden Eagles before it was halted. Was one of the team’s top golfers once again. Competed in six tournaments and a total of 12 rounds. Improved her scoring average to 82.3, which was third on the team. Shot her low round of the season, 78, in the final round of the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout on March 3. Finished tied for 36th in the tournament with a 36-hole score of 160. Also shot a 160 total in the RJGA Shootout at Estrella on Sept. 23-24. Earned 2019-20 CCAA All-Academic and 2020 CCAA Spring All-Academic honors.

2018-19: Had an outstanding first season with the Golden Eagles and was one of the team’s top golfers. Competed in a total of 18 rounds and had a scoring average of 84.83. Finished 19th in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with a 54-hole total of 237. Shot her low round of the season, 77, in the second round of the tourney. Had a best 36-hole total of 157. 

At Clovis East High School: Was on the High Honor Roll and earned Coaches and Captain Awards. Earned a Girls Sportsmanship Award. Is a California Student Federation Lifetime Member. Played varsity all four years in high school. Had a low golf score of 78.

Personal: Daughter of Paul and Jenny Jimenez. Majoring in child development. Enjoys watching movies, traveling, hiking, hanging out with friends and working hard in her sport. Lists when she and her team went to Valleys and made school history as her most exciting experience in sports. Notes she is the youngest in a family of four.
