Cal State LA Athletics

2022: Competed for Cal State LA’s cross country team in the fall. Ran in two meets. Had a best 5,000-meter time of 26:24.0 at Cal State San Bernardino’s Coyote Challenge on Sept. 10 and a best 6,000-meter time of 30:17.2 at Cal State San Marcos’ Cougar Challenge on Sept. 24. Was on Cal State LA’s track and field roster in the spring (2023), but did not compete in any meets. Earned a 2022-23 D2 Athletic Directors Association Achievement Award.

2021: Competed for the Golden Eagles’ track and field team in the spring (2022) in her first year with the program. Had a best mark of 3:04.56 in the 800 meters. Earned 2021-22 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors.

At Providence High School: Competed in cross country and track and field.

Personal: Daughter of Patricia Alvarado. Is an undeclared major. Enjoys painting, drawing and writing. Lists competing in the CIF Prelims for cross country as her most exciting experience in sports.
