Biography

2022: Was on the cross country roster in the fall, but did not compete in any meets. Had a strong season for Cal State LA’s track and field team (2023) in her final year with the program. Had best marks of 12.69 in the 100 meters, 26.45 in the 200 and 64.03 in the 400. Finished fifth in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships as part of the 4x100 relay team. Also placed 16th in the 100 at the conference championships. Competed for Cal State LA’s indoor team as well and had best marks of 26.00 in the 200 and 61.36 in the 400. For her career, had best marks of 12.69 in the 100, 25.53 in the 200 and 61.28 in the 400 in outdoor track, and 26.00 in the 200, 61.28 in the 400 and 15-6.25 in the long jump in indoor track.

2021: Was not on the cross country roster in the fall, but competed for the Golden Eagles in track and field in the spring (2022). Had best marks of 12.83 in the 100 and 25.53 in the 200 and 61.28 in the 400. Finished fourth in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships as a member of the 4x400 relay team. Also finished 10th in the 200. Competed for the Golden Eagles’ indoor team and had best marks of 27.39 in the 200, 68.01 in the 400 and 15-6.25 in the long jump.

At Long Beach City College: Earned All-America honors and was a two-time Runner of the Year. Was also on the school’s Honor Roll. Had best times of 12.38 in the 100 meters, 24.97 in the 200 and 57.78 in the 400. Was second in the 400 meters at the CCCAA Southern California Championships and third as part of the 4x100 relay team. Was ninth in the state in the 400 and third in the 4x100.

At Compton High School: Was on the school’s Honor Roll. Competed in track and volleyball.

Personal: Daughter of Veronica Danage. Majoring in sociology. Enjoys eating. Lists making it to state her freshman year of college and leaving as a JC champ as her most exciting experience in sports. Says everything she does is by the grace of God and everything she does is for her mom, may she rest in peace.
