Cal State LA Athletics

2017: Did not compete in any matches last fall with the Golden Eagles and was a redshirt. Was on Cal State LA’s beach volleyball team in the spring (2018).

2016: Made positive contributions for the Golden Eagles in her first season with the program. Recorded 47 kills and 12 blocks in 16 matches and 44 sets played. Recorded a season-high nine kills and two blocks in a five-set match against Cal State East Bay on Oct. 8. Also had six kills in a three-set match against Western State on Sept. 2. Was also on Cal State LA’s beach volleyball team in the spring (2017).

At American River Junior College: Was a two-time All-Conference selection. Team won the Big 8 Conference championship and was ranked third in Northern California and eighth in California.

At El Camino High School: Earned All-League honors and team won the Division 2 section championship. Finished as the NorCal runner-up in Division 2. Earned All-League honors five times in volleyball and basketball.

Personal: Daughter of Erin Holmes. Majoring in child development. Enjoys photography, bench watching and squishing grapes with Kat. Lists having the connection with her teammates and winning together as her most exciting experiences in sports. Notes she looks forward to a career being a child life specialist.
