Summary

Biography

2024-25: Was off to a sensational start for the Golden Eagles before being sidelined for the season with an injury in her second year with the program. Started the first nine games of the season for the Golden Eagles and played a total of 26.2 minutes per game. Averaged 10.3 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game. Shot 53.5 percent from 3-point range (23-of-43). Averaged 11.4 points and reached double figures in scoring in five of the first eight games. Was injured during the first quarter at Cal State Dominguez Hills (12-21-24). Had a season-high 15 points and was 5-of-7 from 3-point range in a 75-64 win over Concordia (11-20-24) and also had 15 points and a career-high seven rebounds in a 79-62 win over Stanislaus State (12-5-24). Had 12 points and a career-high five assists in a 71-68 win over Central Washington (12-19-24).

2023-24: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Appeared in all 30 games and started 28 times. Played a total of 705 minutes. Averaged 8.5 points and 2.4 rebounds per game. Was second on the team with 58 successful 3-pointers and led the team in 3-point shooting percentage (.408). Was fourth on the team in scoring and fourth in minutes played. Also had 46 assists and 26 steals. Earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honorable mention. Made her Cal State LA debut and got the start in a 79-54 win over Seattle Pacific (11-10-23). Had nine points, all coming via three 3-pointers. Hit a season-high eight 3-pointers and scored a season-high 24 points at Cal Poly Pomona (1-27-24). Hit five 3-pointers and scored 18 points in an 81-69 win at Stanislaus State (2-1-24). Had a season-high six rebounds in a 58-57 win over Sonoma State (2-15-24). Played a season-high 38 minutes and had nine points and a season-high four assists in a 78-64 CCAA Tournament win over Cal State San Bernardino (3-7-24). Reached double figures in scoring nine times.

At Nevada: Appeared in 48 games with two starts in her three years with the program. Appeared in 24 games with one start in 2022-23 and averaged 3.1 points in 14.6 minutes per game. Scored a career-high 12 points to go along with four rebounds and four assists at Long Beach State (12-8-22). Made her first career start as a freshman against New Mexico (1-2-21).

At West Campus High School: Earned league Most Valuable Player honors and scored a school-record 1,175 points in her career. Averaged 22.7 points per game as a junior and 17.3 points, 2.7 steals and 2.1 assists per game. Helped her team win four league titles, two section titles and two state championships in 2017 and 2018.

Personal: Daughter of Rey and Marie Rones. Majoring in business management. Enjoys singing, cooking, art and crafts. Lists whenever the team has a home game, when the stands would be full of people and they are all cheering and making the atmosphere off the entire gym hyped up and exciting as her most exciting experience in sports. Says it is also fun playing away games and having a great game to the point where the other team’s audience is quiet. Notes she is coming back from ACL and Meniscus surgery last year.
