Biography

2024-25: Had her best season yet for the Golden Eagles in her third year with the program. Started all 28 games and played a total of 802 minutes. Averaged 10.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. Was fourth on the team in scoring, fourth in rebounding and second in minutes played. Led the team in 3-pointers made (56) and blocks (30). Earned second-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. Had a career-high 24 points and eight rebounds in an 80-72 win over Cal State San Marcos (1-30-25). Was 6-of-12 from 3-point range. Had 21 points and four rebounds in a 74-73 win over Azusa Pacific (11-22-24). Had 17 points and seven rebounds in a career-high 46 minutes at Cal State San Bernardino (1-2-25) in a triple-overtime game. Hit a game-tying 3-point at the buzzer to send the game into a first overtime. Had a season-high nine rebounds against Cal State San Bernardino (2-8-25). Reached double figures in scoring 16 times. Earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors. Also received 2024-25 CCAA Winter Academic Honor Roll recognition.

2023-24: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in her second year with the program. Appeared in all 30 games and started 29 times. Played a total of 529 minutes. Averaged 5.2 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. Was seventh on the team in scoring, fourth in rebounding and fifth in minutes played. Made her first career start and had four points, nine rebounds and a career-high four assists in 24 minutes of a 79-54 win over Seattle Pacific (11-10-23). Scored a season-high 17 points and had seven rebounds against Stanislaus State (12-9-23). Had a career-high 10 rebounds to go along with five points and three assists in an 88-42 win over San Francisco State (2-8-24). Played a career-high 27 minutes and scored 11 points in an 89-63 win over Cal State East Bay (2-10-24). Reached double figures in scoring four times. An outstanding student, earned CSC Academic All-District honors. Also earned a 2023-24 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award, 2023-24 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors and 2023-24 CCAA Winter Academic Honor Roll recognition.

2022-23: Made big contributions for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Appeared in 25 games and played a total of 187 minutes. Averaged 2.3 points and 1.8 rebounds per game. Showed great shooting range and half of her 20 field goals were 3-pointers. Made her Cal State LA debut and played three minutes in an 81-74 win at Concordia (11-11-22). Had a season-high eight points and a season-high seven rebounds in an 89-62 victory over Cal State Monterey Bay (12-8-22). Also had eight points and four rebounds in a season-high 17 minutes of a 64-54 win at San Francisco State (2-2-23). Was 2-of-4 from 3-point range in the win. Earned 2022-23 CCAA All-Academic honors.

At Ventura High School: Was the school’s Female Athlete of the Year in 2020-21. Earned second-team CIF Division 2 honors twice. Also earned first-team All-League honors four times and first-team All-County honors twice. Also received first-team All-Academic honors all four years in high school. Was a four-year starter.

Personal: Daughter of Israel and Jamie Fuentes. Majoring in mechanical engineering. Enjoys exploring LA and hanging out with her team. Lists hitting a game-winning 3-pointer as her most exciting experience in sports.
