Biography

2014-15: Was a key part of the team for a second season and concluded her career with the program. Appeared in 25 games and started 18 times. Played a total of 521 points. Averaged 6.9 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. Was fourth on the team in scoring and led the team in rebounding. Had a season-high 15 points in a 61-53 win at Cal State East Bay (1-10-15). Also had 15 points and five rebounds at Humboldt State (1-3-15). Had a season-high 11 rebounds to go along with 11 points against Cal State Monterey Bay (2-14-15). Reached double figures in scoring eight times and in rebounds seven times. Had two double-doubles. For her career, appeared in 53 games and started 25 times. Played a total of 1,075 minutes. Averaged 8.1 points and 6.1 rebounds per game.

2013-14: Had a strong first season with the Golden Eagles. Appeared in all 28 games and was third on the team in scoring and second in rebounding. Averaged 9.1 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.0 assist per game. Had a season-high 26 points and 11 rebounds in a win at San Francisco State (2-8-14). Also had 23 points and a season-high 14 rebounds against Cal State Stanislaus (2-15-14) and 16 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Dixie State (11-23-14). Had three double-doubles. Reached double figures in scoring 11 times. Had 17 points and five rebounds in CCAA Championship Tournament semi-final against Cal Poly Pomona (3-7-14). Made her first start for the Golden Eagles in a season-opening, double-overtime win over Cal State Dominguez Hills (11-16-13).

At San Jose City College: Earned first-team All-Conference and second-team All-State honors. Averaged 22.4 points per game as a sophomore and led the Coast Conference in scoring. Scored 30 or more points  three times, including a career-high 38 points against Hartnell. Also earned All-Conference honors as a freshman.

At Monterey Trail High School: Competed in basketball and track and field. Earned All-League honors all four years and was named the team’s Best Defensive Player . Was on the school’s Honor Roll all four years.

Personal: Daughter of Ehi and Godwin Okungbowa. Majoring in public health. Enjoys basketball, video games, television, reading and sleeping. Says her favorite basketball player is Ota Okungbowa and that she loves her family.
