2022: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors after placing third in the triple jump with a season’s best mark of 46-0.75. Also finished 11^th in the conference in the long jump. Had best marks of 20-3.75 in the long jump and 46-0.75 in the triple jump.

2021: Was on the roster, but team did not compete due to COVID-19.

At Iowa Central Community College: Was part of a national championship team. Earned All-Region honorable mention and first-team Academic All-Region.

At Oak Park River Forest High School: Set a new school record in the indoor triple jump and broke three meet records in that event. Was named the Jumper of the Year.

Personal: Son of J.W. Hughes and Anissa Molette. Majoring in film. Enjoys fashion, movies, music and art. Lists breaking the school record in the triple jump as his most exciting experience in sports.
