Cal State LA Athletics

2010-11: Saw playing time in his one year with the program. Appeared in five games and played a total of nine minutes in his one year with the program. Scored all nine of his points by going 3-for-5 from 3-point range. Made his Cal State L.A. debut and scored six points in a 103-62 win over Pacifica College (11-20-10). Was 2-of-3 from 3-point range. Hit his only 3-point attempt for three points against San Francisco State (2-11-11). Had an offensive rebound at Cal Poly Pomona (2-4-11).

At Santa Rosa Junior College: Earned first-team All-Big 8 Conference honors and was a team captain on his soccer team as a sophomore. Team won conference championships both years and reached the state semi-finals during his freshman year.

At Rocklin High School: Competed in soccer, basketball, baseball and track and field. Earned first-team All-League honors in soccer as a junior and senior. Was the team Most Valuable Player and earned first-team All-Metro honors as a senior. Team won two league and section championships. Was a captain of a league-champion basketball team and earned All-League honors and also earned All-League honors as a senior in baseball. Was nominated for Athlete of the Year in the Sacramento area and was the runner-up for Athlete of the Year at his high school.

Personal: Son of Bret and Jane Faulkner. Majoring in communications. Enjoys video games. Lists playing for a section basketball championship at Arco Arena, scoring a hat trick in the first round of playoffs as a junior and scoring a goal in the 100^th minute in the section semi-final as his most exciting experiences in sports.
