Summary

Biography

2010-11: Had a tremendous season for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Started all 28 games and played a total of 988 minutes. Averaged 16.3 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. Led the team in scoring, assists (65) and steals (71). Was second in rebounding. Earned second-team All-West Region honors from Daktronics and first-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. Was third in the conference in scoring. Had a season-high 24 points and five rebounds against Cal State Dominguez Hills (12-18-10). Also had 22 points and six rebounds in an 85-80 at San Francisco State (1-8-11). Had 17 points and a season-high 13 rebounds in a 69-62 win at Cal State Monterey Bay (1-7-11). Reached double figures in scoring 24 times and scored 20 or more points nine times. Reached double figures in rebounding five times. Had three double-doubles. Had a season-high five steals three times and a season-high four assists four times. Was one of two Cal State L.A. recipients of the 2010-11 Dr. Hal Charnofsky Memorial Award from the CCAA for academic and athletic accomplishments.

At Weber State: Was named the 2009-10 Big Sky Conference Newcomer of the Year. Averaged 10.2 points and 5.8 rebounds per game in 31 games for the Wildcats. Bumped those averages up to 11.9 points and 6.2 rebounds in 16 Big Sky regular-season games. Was the team’s third-leading scorer. Had a season-high 24 points in a win over Portland State and had 14 points and 18 rebounds at Sacramento State. Named to the Big Sky Conference Post-Season Tournament All-Tournament team after scoring 23 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in games against Portland State and Montana. Reached double figures in scoring 16 times and had four double-doubles.

At Saddleback College: Helped lead the team to a 29-8 record and a spot in the 2009 California State Junior College championship game. Named the Orange Empire Conference Most Valuable Player in 2009 and earned first-team All-California JC honors as well. In three games at the state tournament, averaged 13.3 rebounds per contest.

At Irvine Valley College: Helped lead the team to a conference championship. Averaged 14.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.

At Jordan High School: Was the team’s Most Valuable Player and Best Defender. Earned first-team All-Conference honors.

Personal: Son of Franklin and Deborah Session. Majoring in fire technology. Enjoys drawing and gaming. Lists the state championship game with Saddleback College as his most exciting experience in sports.
