Cal State LA Athletics

2007-08: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Started the first 14 games of the season before suffering a season-ending injury at Cal State Monterey Bay (1-18-08). Averaged 16.5 points and 4.1 rebounds. Shared the team lead in scoring. Had a season-high 28 points, six rebounds and four assists in a 79-67 win at Dixie State College (12-21-07). Had 23 points in his Cal State L.A. debut in a 97-73 win over Saint Martin's (11-23-07). Also had 23 points and four assists in an 81-72 win over Sonoma State (12-1-07). Reached double figures in scoring 12 times and scored 20 or more points six times.

At Florida International: Appeared 12 games and started three times in 2006-07. Averaged 10 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. Averaged 26.1 minutes per contest.

At Los Angeles City College: Earned first-team All-State and first-team All-Conference honors in 2005-06. Was named California’s “Top Finisher.” Broke school record with 41 points in a game. Averaged 18 points per game.

At Mayfair HS: Earned first-team All-Suburban League honors. Averaged 20 points per game as a senior. Competed in basketball and track and field.

Personal: Son of Johnny Prejean and Lorrie Martin. Majoring in liberal studies. Enjoys playing basketball. Lists breaking the scoring record at Los Angeles City College as his most exciting experience in sports.
