Biography

2009-10: Had an outstanding first season for the Golden Eagles and was one of the top freshmen in the California Collegiate Athletic Association. Was third on the team in scoring with 9.6 points per game and second in rebounding with 5.8 rebounds per game. Recorded three double-doubles during the season. Had a season-high 19 points and 11 rebounds against Humboldt State (1-30-10). Poured in 16 points in games at Cal State San Bernardino (1-15-10) and against Sonoma State (1-29-10). Had a 13-point, 12-rebound double-double against Cal State San Bernardino (2-20-10) and a 10-point, 13-rebound double-double at San Francisco State (2-12-10). Reached double figures in scoring in 15 games.
 
At Loyola High School: Helped his team reach the CIF Championship game after averaging 19 points and nine rebounds per game. Earned first-team All-state, All-CIF and first-team All-League honors as a senior and was the team’s Most Valuable Player. Also earned first-team All-League honors and was named the team’s Most Improved Player as a junior.
 
Personal: Son of Tom and Suzanne Hoffman. Majoring in business. Enjoys sports and video games. Lists playing in the CIF Finals and the CIF State Southern Section Final as his most exciting experiences in sports.
