Cal State LA Athletics

2019-20: Battled through some early-season injuries and completed his Cal State LA career with a strong senior season. Appeared in 16 games and started eight times. Averaged 2.3 points and 1.7 assists per game. Matched a career high with eight points and had four rebounds against Chico State (1-25-20). Also matched a career-high with five assists in a 65-64 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills (2-1-20). For his career, appeared in 50 games with 20 starts. Played a total of 724 minutes. Averaged 2.1 points, 1.0 rebound and 1.6 assists per game.

2018-19: Returned from some early-season injuries and contributed key minutes for the Golden Eagles down the stretch in his second season with the program. Appeared in 16 games and started 11 times. Averaged 2.9 points and 2.0 assists per game. Had a season-high eight points with three assists in a win over Chico State (2-21-19). Had a season-high five rebounds, a season-high five assists and three points against Cal State East Bay (2-7-19). Had six points and five assists in a win over Cal State Monterey Bay (2-9-19).

2017-18: Appeared in 18 games while battling injuries in his first season with the program. Made his first start for Cal State LA in an 81-77 win over Humboldt State (1-26-18). Had three assists in 13 minutes. Averaged 1.3 points and 1.4 assists per game.

At BYU-Hawaii: Started for the Seasiders as a redshirt freshman and led the PacWest Conference in assist-to-turnover ratio.

At Mark Keppel High School: Was a four-year starter and part of four consecutive league championship teams. Earned second-team All-League honors as a freshman and first-team honors as a sophomore, junior and senior.

Personal: Son of Joe and Pauline Kikuchi. Majoring in television and film studies. Enjoys making music and shopping. Lists getting to the CCAA Tournament as his most exciting experience in sports.
