Cal State LA Athletics

2023: Made contributions last season for Cal State LA’s NCAA Division II, West Region and California Collegiate Athletic Association champions in her final year with the program. Appeared in 11 matches and 13 sets. Made her season debut against Regis on Aug. 31. Had a career-high two digs at Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 22 and two digs and a set assist at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 13. Also had one dig in a win over Cal Poly Pomona on Nov. 4. For her career, appeared in 13 matches and 15 sets. Recorded one assist and five digs.

2022: Appeared in two matches and two sets for Cal State LA’s NCAA Division II West Region and California Collegiate Athletic Association champions in the fall. Made her indoor debut in a three-set win over Chico State on Sept. 10 and also played in an Oct. 29 three-set win over Cal State San Marcos. Also competed for Cal State LA’s beach volleyball team in the spring (2023) and played in a pair of matches at No. 5 pairs.

2021: Competed in beach volleyball in the spring (2022) and played in eight matches at No. 5 pairs for the Golden Eagles.

At Long Beach City College: Earned her associate degree in psychology.

At Bellflower High School: Earned All-Suburban League honors as a junior and senior and was the team Most Valuable Player both seasons. Graduated with High Honors.

Personal: Daughter of Elias and Gudelia Jimenez. Majoring in psychology. Enjoys coaching volleyball (high school and club), spending time with her loved ones, visiting new places and trying new foods. Lists winning the West Regionals last year and getting to go to the NCAA Championships in a festival year as her most exciting experiences in sports. Notes she comes from a volleyball family; that how her parents met. Has a younger brother, Dante, who is going to pursue college volleyball. Going on her sixth year of coaching volleyball to boys and girls. Hopes to open her own volleyball club with her family in the years to come.
