Cal State LA Athletics

2021-22: Battled through injuries, but made an impact in her one year with the program. Appeared in six games and made two starts. Averaged 2.7 points and 1.7 rebounds per game. Made her Cal State LA debut and played 31 minutes at Biola (11-23-21). Scored a season-high 10 points and grabbed three rebounds at Cal State San Marcos (11-27-21). Sidelined until the final four games of the season. Played for the Golden Eagles in both California Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament games. Had four points and one rebound against Cal State East Bay (3-4-22). Earned 2021-22 CCAA Winter Honor Roll recognition.

At UC Santa Barbara: Played in 30 games and started 29 for the Gauchos. Started her UC Santa Barbara career by scoring 21 points on 8-of-12 shooting, including 3-of-5 from behind the 3-point arc with four assists and three steals at Utah Valley. Reached double digits in scoring nine times. Had a season-high 14 rebounds at Long Beach State on Jan. 19. Shot a team-best 86.6 percent from the free-throw line. Also appeared in 21 games with eight starts in 2020-21. For her UC Santa Barbara career, played in 51 games with 37 starts and averaged 6.8 points per game.

At West Los Angeles CC: Averaged 20.2 points, 9.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists during her freshman year with the program. Was the MVP of the CCCAA Western Conference and the conference’s Best Defensive Player. Was No. 3 in the conference and 12^th in the state in scoring. Led the team to a 22-6 overall record and a Western State Conference title, the program’s first since 1999.  Earned first-team All-WSC honors and named the Best Defensive Player.

At Westchester High School: Had 19 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game as a senior. Scored a career-high 21.2 points per game as a junior. Earned first-team All-League honors as a freshman, first-team All-City honors as a sophomore and second-team All-League honors as a senior. Helped team to city championships in both her sophomore and senior seasons. Scored 1,504 points and averaged 16.3 points over 92 games in her high-school career. Graduated with honors and a 3.6 grade point average.

Personal: Daughter of Sebastine and Kate Anugwom. Majored in psychology and brain sciences and is in grad school. Enjoys dancing. Lists winning the City Championship twice as her most exciting experiences in sports.
