Cal State LA Athletics

2019: Was one of the top distance runners for the track and field team in his final year with the program. Had best marks of 4:43.79 in the 1,500 meters, 9:59.45 in the 3,000, 11:36.39 in the 3,000 steeplechase, 18:01.07 in the 5,000 and 35:37.42 in the 10,000. Finished 19th in the 10,000 at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. Was one of two Cal State L.A. recipients of the 2018-19 Dr. Hal Charnofsky Memorial Award from the CCAA for academic and athletic accomplishments. For his career, had best marks of 2:21.56 in the 800, 4:38.66 in the 1,500, 9:59.45 in the 3,000, 11:36.39 in the 3,000 steeplechase and 17:58.43 in the 5,000. 

2018: Was a valuable and versatile member of Cal State LA’s track and field team. Had best marks of 2:21.56 in the 800, 4:38.66 in the 1,500 and 17:58.43 in the 5,000.

2017: Competed for Cal State LA’s cross country team in the fall and ran in seven races. Finished 88^th in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with a time of 30:33.3 over 8,000 meters.

At University of the Southwest: Competed in track and field. Was the school’s Athlete of the Week for the week of April 10-16 in 2017.

At Hartnell College: Won back-to-back conference championships.

At North Salinas High School: Earned Most Improved Awards in cross country and soccer. Earned the Heart of a Viking honor.

Personal: Son of Alyx and Justine Conneau. Majoring in communication. Enjoys spending time with friends and with good people. Also likes to work out and play football and basketball. Lists traveling to Oregon with the Cal State LA cross country team for the D2 West Regionals as his most exciting experience in sports.
