Cal State LA Athletics

2016: Competed in five events for Cal State LA’s cross country team. Finished 88^th in the CCAA Championships with a time of 31:21.6 over 8,000-meters and 166^th in the West Regionals with a time of 36:42.11 over 10,000 meters. Also competed on Cal State LA’s track and field team in the spring (2017) and had best times of 4:38.39 in the 1,500 and 16:54.84 in the 5,000.

At Bell High School: Finished third in the 3,200 meters in the league finals. Was sixth in the league finals in the frosh/soph division of cross country.

Personal: Son of Jose and Silvia Garcia. Majoring in computer science. Enjoys going to the beach, watching movies, driving at night and late-night talks on the phone. Notes he made YouTube videos for the Bell High School cross country and track and field teams.
