Summary

Biography

2012: Had a tremendous second season with the Golden Eagles and was the team’s top sprinter. Had best marks of 12.07 in the 100 and 25.21 in the 200. Also had the team’s best marks in the 100 hurdles (14.56) and 400 hurdles (69.88). Despite being injured during prelims, still managed to earn points in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships for Cal State L.A. by finishing eighth in the 100 and 100 hurdles. Had the team’s best times in the 60 (8.00) and 200 (25.76) and posted a best time of 9.22 in the 60 hurdles.
 
2011: Had an outstanding first season with the Golden Eagles and was the team’s top sprinter. Had best marks of 12.37 in the 100, 24.99 in the 200 and 14.80 in the 100 hurdles. Ran the opening leg for the 4x100 relay team that finished fourth in the CCAA Championships. Also competed for the Golden Eagles in indoor track and field and scored 2,251 points in the pentathlon. Had a best time of 9.47 in the 60 hurdles.
 
At West Los Angeles College: Was on the Dean’s List and earned the Outstanding Student-Athlete Award. Was also a Student-Athlete of the Month. Had best times in 2010 of 12.32 in the 100, 15.11 in the 100 hurdles and 67.03 in the 400 hurdles.
 
At Taft High School: Was the team’s Most Valuable Player in 2005, 2006 and 2008 and the Most Outstanding Athlete in 2007. Won the L.A. City Section championship in the 100 hurdles in 2008 with a time of 14.90.
 
Personal: Daughter of Clinton and Rosielee Jones. Majoring in history. Enjoys reading, history, movies, family and running. Notes she has four sisters: Dywana, Stephanie, Tiffany and Shani.
