LOS ANGELES -- Four members of Cal State LA's women's golf team have been named to the 2026 CSC Academic All-District Women's At Large Team, selected by the district's College Sports Communicators, the organization announced on Tuesday.
Joshlyn Ayala received All-District honors for the third time,
Daniela Andrade earned them for a second time, while newcomers
Rilee Crosby and
Talia Gutman earned the honors for the first time.
The awards honor student-athletes for their combined performances in their field of competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program (formerly known as the CoSIDA Academic All-America program) recognizes honorees in four divisions - NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To be considered for the honor in golf, a student-athlete must have participated in 75 percent of the team's scoring events or be in the lineup at a conference championship tournament and carry at least a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 at his/her current institution. No student-athlete is eligible until he/she is at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
The women's At-Large teams include student-athletes from the sports of golf, beach volleyball, bowling, crew-rowing, fencing, field hockey, gymnastics, ice hockey, lacrosse, rifle, skiing, water polo and wrestling.
Ayala set a new program single-season scoring record in her fourth and final year with the program. She was the team's No. 1 golfer for the second straight season and had a scoring average of 74.57.
Ayala earned first-team All-CCAA honors for a second straight season and also finished third in the CCAA Championships for a second straight season, earning All-Tournament honors in the process. She finished in the top-10 seven times and had four top-five finishes. She completed her career with a 30th-place finish at the NCAA West Regional.
She graduated this spring with a degree in art and had a 3.91 grade point average.
Andrade had her third straight strong season for the Golden Eagles, highlighted by a second-place finish at the RJGA Palm Valley Classic and the third CCAA Player of the Week award of her career. She earned first-team All-CCAA honors for a thirfd straight season and was second on the team with a 76.29 scoring average. She finished in a tie for 14th at the CCAA Championships and wound up in a tie for 58th at the NCAA West Regional.
She is a business administration major and carries a 3.65 grade point average.
Crosby was a welcome addition to the program after transferring from Sonoma State. She appeared in 10 of the Golden Eagles' 11 tournaments and had a scoring average of 77.77. She finished in a tie for third at the Fujikura Invitational in March and had a top-10 finish at the CCAA Championships, where she finished in a tie for eighth.
She is a communicative disorders major and carries a 3.99 grade point average.
Gutman was another newcomer to the program from Sonoma State and she was third at Cal State LA with a 76.46 grade point average. She appeared in all 11 tournaments for the Golden Eagles and set a new program record with a round of 66 in the second round of the East Bay Fall Invitational. She had a top finish of a tie for second in her first tournament with the Golden Eagles at the Swan Memorial. She finished in a tie for 14th at the CCAA Championships and a tie for 41st at the NCAA West Regional.
She graduated this spring with a degree in geography and had a 4.00 grade point average.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs.
The At-Large Academic All-America teams will be announced on July 7.
