LOS ANGELES -- Cal State LA's men's soccer program, the 2021 NCAA Division II champions, will host a spring ID camp on April 16 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at University Stadium.
The Golden Eagles coaching staff, which was named the national Coaching Staff of the Year by the United Soccer Coaches, will run the camp. The camp will be an ideal opportunity for the staff to evaluate talent and for potential collegiate student-athletes to get exposure to college-level training.
The ID camp is for males grade 10 and up. The day will begin with check-in from 9-9:30 a.m., warm-up and possession functional training from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., a lunch break from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 11 v. 11 matches from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
The Golden Eagles are coming off a historic 2021 season that saw the program claim California Collegiate Athletic Association regular-season and tournament titles, a Super Region 4 title and the first NCAA Division II national title in program history.
