Cal State LA scored the first five points of the third set, three of them coming on service aces from Santos. Sonoma State closed to within 9-8, but couldn't get any closer. A block by Cannon and Duarte and kills from Santos and Elliott pushed the lead to 12-8 and the Golden Eagles kept their momentum.
