Cal State LA Athletics

2024: Made big contributions for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Appeared in all 18 games with 13 starts. Played a total of 686 minutes. Had one goal and one assist for three points. Made her Cal State LA debut and got her first start in a season-opening 4-2 win over Westmont on Sept. 5. Scored her first goal in the sixth minute, racing to get to a through ball from Shelby Melin and lofting a shot past an onrushing goalkeeper and in. Picked up an assist on Reyna Roman’s goal in the fifth minute of a 1-1 tie at Biola on Sept. 18. Played a season-high 61 minutes at Cal State Dominguez Hills in the regular-season finale on Nov. 7. Played 37 minutes in a California Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament first-round game against Cal State Monterey Bay on Nov. 10 in University Stadium. Earned 2024-25 CCAA All-Academic honors.

At California Baptist: Played in 14 games over two seasons, including 10 in 2023. Had one goal and one assist for three points. Scored the final goal in a 4-1 win over Stephen F. Austin on Oct. 12. Played in four games for the Lancers in 2022.

At Esperanza High School: Earned first-team All-League honors three times. Named team Offensive Most Valuable Player all four seasons. Earned league Offensive MVP honors as a junior and senior. 

Personal: Daughter of Ismael Valdez and Elena Lopez. Majoring in communications.
