2013: Had a second strong season and completed an impressive two-year career with the program. Appeared in eight games with five starts. Played a total of 351 minutes. Got the start and played a season-high 90 minutes in a 1-1 tie at Cal State Monterey Bay on Sept. 22. For her career, appeared in 23 games with six starts. Played a total of 902 minutes. Had one assist for one point.

2012: Had a solid first season with the Golden Eagles. Appeared in 15 games and made one start. Played a total of 551 minutes. Had one assist in a 4-3 win over Humboldt State on Oct. 19. Made the first start of her Cal State L.A. career in a 1-0 win at Cal State San Bernardino on Sept. 28.

At Taft College: Was the Defensive Most Valuable Player of the Central Valley and the Jockey Club in 2011.

At Taft Union High School: Competed in soccer and track and field. Was the soccer team’s Defensive Player of the Year from 2006-09 and was the team captain as a senior.

Personal: Daughter of Arturo and Maria Concepcion Almaguer. Majoring in public health. Enjoys reading, running and spending time with her family. Lists winning the Univision Copa and getting a chance to travel to Mexico to compete as her most exciting experience in sports.
