Cal State LA Athletics

2024: Had a strong season for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Appeared in 12 games and played a total of 238 minutes. Had one goal for two points. Made her Cal State LA debut and played 27 minutes in a season-opening 4-2 win over Westmont on Sept. 5. Played a season-high 31 minutes in a 2-1 win at Cal State Monterey Bay on Nov. 3. Scored her first goal for Cal State LA on a header in the 80^th minute against Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 17. Played 30 minutes in a California Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament first-round match in University Stadium on Nov. 10. Earned 2024 CCAA Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition.

At Cypress College: Earned second-team All-Orange Empire Conference honors in 2023. Appeared in 46 games with 40 starts during her two seasons. Had 20 goals and five assists for 45 points. Was on the school’s Dean’s List.

At Warren High School: Earned the Golden Bear Award for soccer (2020-21), the Bear Award for soccer (2018-19, 2020-21) and earned a Scholar-Athlete Award for soccer (2017-18, 2018-19, 2020-21). Earned All-San Gabriel Valley League honors (2018-19) and was the AVID Freshman of the Year (2017-18). Was a two-time varsity captain. Earned California Scholarship Federation recognition (2017-18, 2018-19, 2020-21) and the Golden Bear Award in math (2018-19). Earned Bronze Bear honors all four years.

Personal: Daughter of George Raygoza and Mary Garcia. Majoring in biology. Enjoys spending time with family and friends and her dog. Lists her first state championship in AYSO U10, celebrating a tough win by running into her dad’s arms, winning the AYSO national championship after a very close game and celebrating by throwing water on the coaches and traveling to Mt. SAC for the Final Four while at Cypress College as her most exciting experiences in sports.
