Cal State LA Athletics

2013: Was a big contributor in her second and final season with the Golden Eagles. Appeared in nine games and played a total of 162 minutes. Played a season-high 32 minutes in a 4-0 win over Saint Martin's on Sept. 8. Earned California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors. For her career, appeared in 21 games with five starts. Played a total of 532 minutes.

2012: Made solid contributions in her first season with the Golden Eagles. Appeared in 12 games and started five times. Assisted on a goal by Megan Ollar that was the only score in a 1-0 victory at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sept. 16. Also had an assist on a goal by Ollar against UC San Diego on Sept. 14. Played a season-high 66 minutes against Cal State East Bay on Sept. 21.

At Cal State Bakersfield: Appeared in a total of nine games for the Roadrunners in her two years with the program. Played in two games as a sophomore and appeared in seven games as a freshman.

At Fullerton High School: Competed in soccer, cross country and track and field. Was a four-year varsity player in soccer and voted Most Valuable Runner at her school as a sophomore, junior and senior.

Personal: Daughter of Saturnino Valdez and Francisca Lopez. Majoring in exercise science. Enjoys running. Lists setting the school record in the two mile (13:02) at Fullerton High School as her most exciting experience in sports.
