Summary

Biography

2023: Had a second strong season for the Cal State LA beach volleyball team in the spring. Had a 5-3 record, all at No. 1 pairs with Ashley Dittman. Recorded a pair of wins over NCAA Division I competition. Had a second tremendous season in the fall while helping the Golden Eagles to their first NCAA Division II national championship as well as a second straight NCAA West Region title and a California Collegiate Athletic Association co-championship. Earned American Volleyball Coaches Association All-America honorable mention for a second straight season. Was named to the NCAA National Championships All-Tournament Team as well as the NCAA West Region All-Tournament Team and the CCAA All-Tournament Team. Earned AVCA first-team All-West Region honors for a second straight season. Was second on the team in kills (407), points (513) and aces (66). Led the team in digs with 405 and fourth in blocks with 64. Had a career-high 21 kills to go along with 18 digs in a four-set win over West Texas A&M in the national championship match on Dec. 9. Had the most significant serving run of the season when she served for 10 straight points in the fourth set of a five-set win over Wayne State in a national quarterfinal match on Dec. 7, helping the Golden Eagles rally from a 2-1 set deficit. Matched a career high with 21 digs against Cal State San Bernardino on Nov. 18. Reached double figures in kills 23 times and double figures in digs 23 times. Had 17 double-doubles (kills and digs). Earned second-team College Sports Communicators Academic All-America honors.

2022: Made her Cal State LA debut with the beach volleyball team in the spring (2022) and had a remarkable season, compiling a 12-3 record at No. 1 pairs with Ashley Dittmann, including six wins against NCAA Division I competition. The duo was 10-1 in its last 11 matches, including a seven-match winning streak to close the season. Turned in one of the best freshman seasons in program history for Cal State LA’s indoor team in the fall. Was one of the top players on the NCAA West Region and CCAA champions. Became the first player in program history to be named the AVCA National Freshman of the Year. Was also named the AVCA West Region Freshman of the Year and received AVCA All-America honorable mention. Earned first-team All-CCAA honors and first-team AVCA All-Region honors. Was named to the NCAA West Region All-Tournament Team. Appeared in all 32 matches and 110 sets for the Golden Eagles. Was second on the team in kills with 330 and second in points with 423.5. Also led the team in aces with 63 and was second in digs with 318. Was fifth in the conference in kills, third in points and second in aces. Had a season-high 17 kills, 22.5 points and five aces in a four-set win against Stanislaus State on Sept. 9. Made her Cal State LA debut and had a season-high 21 digs and 14 kills in a five-set win over Ferris State on Aug. 25. Reached double figures in kills 21 times and in digs 15 times. Had 12 double-doubles. Earned 2022-23 CCAA All-Academic honors.

At Schickhardt-Gymnasium: Competed in volleyball.

Personal: Daughter of Stefan Henke and Tatjana Oravec. Majoring in psychology. Enjoys art/drawing, reading, sports and spending time with her brothers. Lists being able to play with her childhood idol Jenny F. as her most exciting experience in sports.
