Cal State LA Athletics

At LA Trade Tech College: Led the team in scoring in each of her two seasons with the program. Earned first-team All-Conference and second-team All-State honors as a sophomore. Helped her team to a second straight South Coast Conference championship and an appearance in the Elite Eight. Averaged 21.9 points per game with a career-high of 40 points. Was a top-five scoring guard in the state. Averaged 16.5 points per game and was the South Coast Conference-North Freshman of the Year in her first year. Team won the conference title and advanced to the Elite Eight.

At Valley Christian High School: Led her team to a CIF Division 4AA finals appearance and was the Olympic League Most Valuable Player. Earned Long Beach Press-Telegram Dream Team honorable mention. Competed in basketball and track and field.

Personal: Daughter of Dennis Mckinnie and Martha Hughes. Majoring in sociology. Enjoys being around and spending time with her family, shopping and going to the beach. Also enjoys the water. Lists winning back-to-back SCC titles at Trade Tech as her most exciting experience in sports. Says RIP Kobe and RIP Gigi.
