Cal State LA Athletics

2017-18: Had a strong season for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Appeared in 26 games with 16 starts. Played a total of 588 minutes. Averaged 10.6 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. Was third on the team in scoring and third in rebounding. Had a season-high 21 points and 10 rebounds against Cal State Dominguez Hills (1-6-18). Made his Cal State LA debut and scored 11 points in a win over Holy Names (11-10-17). Also got his first start and played 21 minutes. Reached double figures in scoring 15 times. Had two double-doubles.

At Harcum College: Finished his career as the No. 3 all-time leading scorer (1,024 points), No. 4 in rebounds (465) and No. 5 in steals (120). Selected to play in the NCJAA All-Star game in Las Vegas in 2016. Team won the regional championship and he was the Region XV Most Valuable Player and an All-Tournament selection. Was an NJCAA D1 Junior College All-American.

At Freedom High School: Was a four-year varsity player and earned first-team All-BVAL honors in his sophomore, junior and senior years. Finished his career as the school’s all-time leading scorer. Team was a North Coast Division I championship runner-up and reached the California State semi-finals.

Personal: Son of Elliott Smith and Fern Carroll. Majoring in sociology. Enjoys reading, writing and drawing. Notes he has a younger sister, Soleil.
