Cal State LA Athletics

2025-26: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in his one season with the program. Appeared in 25 games and started all of them, before missing the final three due to injury. Played a total of 708 minutes. Led the team in scoring with 13.4 points per game and rebounding with 7.0 per game. Was also fourth on the team in assists with 2.1 per game and led the team in steals with 38 and blocks with 30. Earned second-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. Made his Cal State LA debut and had seven points, three rebounds and three assists against Biola (11-14-25). Had a season-high 23 points, a season-high 10 rebounds and two steals in an 87-71 win at Fresno Pacific (11-24-25). Had 22 points, six rebounds and five assists in an 82-77 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills (1-22-26). Had 21 points and eight rebounds against Cal Poly Humboldt (1-29-26) and had 21 points and 10 rebounds against Cal State Monterey Bay (2-12-26). Reached doubles figures in scoring 17 times and scored 20 or more points five times. Had five double-doubles. Earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors. Also earned a 2025-26 D2 Athletic Directors Association Achievement Award and 2025-26 CCAA Winter Honor Roll recognition.

At University of New Mexico: Was on the roster in 2023-24 and 2024-25. Earned Mountain West All-Academic honors.

At North Alabama: Appeared in 33 games over two seasons, including 24 as a sophomore. Averaged 1.7 points and 2.1 rebounds per game.

At Phoenix Prep/Eldorado High School: Played one season at Phoenix Prep and averaged 16 points and 11 rebounds per game. Earned second-team All-State honors in 2019-20. Averaged 16.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per game as a senior at El Dorado. Earned Conference Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year.

Personal: Son of Jay Agbaosi and Vanessa Laird. Majoring in business. Enjoys basketball.
