Cal State LA Athletics

2024-25: Was limited to only two games due to injury in his first year with the program. Played a total of eight minutes. Averaged 1.0 point per game. Made his Cal State LA debut and played three minutes against Vanguard (11-23-24). Scored two points and had a block in five minutes against Cal State Dominguez Hills (11-30-24) in his final appearance of the season. Earned 2024-25 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors.

At Middlebrooks Academy: Was the team’s Most Outstanding Player. Led the team in rebounding and shot blocks. Earned first-team All-Conference honors. Competed in basketball and volleyball.

Personal: Son of Brandon Pouncil and Laquita Dorsey. Majoring in psychology. Enjoys fishing, gaming and listening to music. Lists traveling around the country as his most exciting experience in sports.
