Cal State LA Athletics

2025: Saw his first action on the field for the Golden Eagles in his second year with the program. Appeared in seven games and played a total of 157 minutes. Had one assist and one point. Made his Cal State LA debut and played 12 minutes in a 3-1 win over Cal State Monterey Bay on Oct. 10. Picked up an assist on a go-ahead goal by Erick Alamo in the 39^th minute. Played a season-high 35 minutes against Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 19 and played 35 minutes again in a 1-0 win at Cal Poly Pomona on Nov. 2. Earned a 2025-26 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award and 2025-26 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors.

2024: Was on the roster, but did not compete in any games for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program.

Personal: Son of Niclas Bergsen and Marianne Lind. Majoring in business economics. Enjoys hanging out with friends. Lists his debut for Sweden’s national team as his most exciting experience in sports.
