Biography

2022-23: Had another sensational season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honorable mention. Appeared in 29 games and started all of them. Played a total of 500 minutes. Averaged 5.2 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. Was second on the team in rebounding. Led the team with 26 blocks. Scored a season-high 14 points to go along with seven rebounds in 20 minutes in an 86-76 win over Cal Poly Pomona (1-28-23). Had a season-high 14 rebounds at UC Riverside (11-23-22). Had 10 points and eight rebounds in 14 minutes in an 89-62 win against Cal State Monterey Bay (12-8-22). Hit all five of her field-goal attempts. Had eight points and 12 rebounds in a 78-62 win against Point Loma (12-30-22). Reached double figures in scoring five times and double figures in rebounding twice. For her career, appeared in 54 games and started all of them. Played a total of 1,141 minutes. Averaged 6.6 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. Also had 55 blocks. Finished her career No. 9 all-time in blocks.

2021-22: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in her first year on the court with the program. Led the California Collegiate Athletic Association in rebounding with 10.3 rebounds per game. Was also fourth on the team in scoring with 8.1 points per game. Was also second in the conference in blocked shots with 29. Appeared and started in 25 games. Played a total of 641 minutes. Grabbed a season-high 21 rebounds at Azusa Pacific (11-16-21). That single-game total is tied for second in program history. Also had 20 rebounds to go along with 10 points at Cal Poly Pomona (1-22-22). Had a season-high 16 points and a season-high four blocks against Cal State San Marcos (1-2-22). Had a season-high four steals in CCAA Tournament game against Sonoma State (3-3-22). Reached double figures in scoring 11 times and in rebounding 15 times. Had eight double-doubles. Earned 2021-22 CCAA All-Academic honors and 2022 CCAA Winter Academic Honor Roll recognition.

2020-21: Earned 2020-21 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors and also received 2020-21 CCAA Winter Academic Honor Roll recognition in her first year with the program. Was on the roster, but team did not compete due to COVID-19.

At Merced College: Earned first-team All-Conference honors in both her seasons with the program. Averaged 9.3 points and 8.5 rebounds per game. Received the team’s Most Coachable Award as a freshman.

At Merced High School: Was her team’s Offensive Player of the Year as a senior. Competed in volleyball, basketball and track. Earned a pair of Most Improved Player awards in volleyball and the Newcomer Award for junior varsity basketball. Also won the MVP Award of the Junior Varsity Stagg Basketball Tournament and earned All-Tournament honors at the varsity Golden Valley Basketball Tournament.

Personal: Daughter of Andrew and Blanca Keran. Majoring in communications. Enjoys reading, painting and shopping. Lists making it to the state tournament in her freshman season at Merced College and finishing in the Final Four as her most exciting experience in sports. Notes periwinkle blue is her favorite color.
