Cal State LA Athletics

2025: Had his best season yet for the Golden Eagles in his fourth year with the program. Appeared in 19 games and had 12 starts. Played a total of 943 minutes. Shared the team lead with five goals and was second on the team with 10 points. Had the first multi-goal game of his career with a pair of goals in a 3-0 win over Chico State on Oct. 12. Scored the game’s first goal in the 37^th minute and then made it 2-0 with a spectacular side-winding shot in the box just 10 seconds before halftime. Also had a goal in the previous game, the game-winning score in a 3-1 win over Cal State Monterey Bay on Oct. 10. Was named the California Collegiate Athletic Association Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 6-12 and was also the D2CIDA National Player of the Week. Scored the team’s second goal in the 55^th minute of a season-opening 2-0 win over Fresno Pacific on Sept. 4. Scored his final goal of the season to open the scoring in a 2-2 tie with Cal Poly Humboldt on Oct. 26. Played a career-high 77 minutes in Cal State LA’s NCAA Tournament match against UCCS on Nov. 21.

2024: Had a productive season for the Golden Eagles in his third year with the program. Appeared in 18 games with one start. Played a total of 324 minutes. Had two goals and two assists for six points. Was sixth on the team in scoring. Made his first career start and played 23 minutes in a 1-0 win over MSU Denver on Sept. 22. Had goals in back-to-back games in early October. Had the opening goal in the 44^th minute of a 1-1 tie at Chico State on Oct. 4. Had the game-tying goal in the 60^th minute of a 2-1 win at Stanislaus State on Oct. 6. Had two assists in a 4-1 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills in an NCAA Tournament game in University Stadium on Oct. 24. Assisted on a goal by Ignacio Moreno in the 44^th minute that put the Golden Eagles ahead, 1-0, and had the assist on a goal by Jacob Solek that made it 4-0 in the 82^nd minute.

2023: Was on the roster, but did not compete in any games for the Golden Eagles in his second year with the program.

2022: Made contribution for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Appeared in six games and played a total of 103 minutes. Made his Cal State LA debut and played nine minutes in a 2-0 win over Concordia on Sept. 3. Played a season-high 23 minutes in a 6-0 win over Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 17. Also played 20 minutes against Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sept. 25.

At Animo Venice Charter High School:  Team won two Ocean League championships and was a CIF Division 6 semi-finalist. Was the team Most Valuable Player in 2019-20 and Rookie of the Year and top goal scorer in 2017-18. Won the first Surf Club trophy with Santa Monica Surf (now the Santa Monica Albion).

Personal: Son of Lalo and Martha Alamo. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys coaching kids and detailing cars. Lists when he and his dawgs won a penalty shootout after a comeback in the finals as his most exciting experience in sports. Notes he met the love of his life playing soccer.
