Cal State LA Athletics

2025: Made big contributions for the Golden Eagles in his first year with the program. Appeared in 10 games and made two starts. Played a total of 403 minutes. Had one goal and three assists for five points. The three assists were tied for the team lead and the five points were tied for seventh. Made his Cal State LA debut and played 40 minutes in a 3-1 win over Cal State Monterey Bay on Oct. 10. Picked up his first assist of the season on a goal by Marcos Lipertis in the 37^th minute that tied the game at 1-1. Had a goal and an assist in a 3-0 win over Chico State on Oct. 12. Scored the final goal of the game in the 90^th minute and had the assist on a goal by Erick Alamo that made it 2-0 in the final minute of the first half. Also had the assist on a game-winning goal by Johnny Gonzalez in the 85^th minute of a 3-2 win over Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 31. Got his first start and played 59 minutes in a 2-2 tie with Cal Poly Humboldt on Oct. 26. Got his second start and played a season-high 60 minutes in an NCAA Tournament game against UCCS on Nov. 21.

At Cathedral High School: Earned first-team All-CIF honors and was a two-time first-team All-League selection. Earned the Best Offensive Player Award twice and was on the school’s Honor Roll three times.

Personal: Son of Ulises Sandres and Leslie Molina. Majoring in business. Enjoys soccer and running. Lists winning titles, and reaching finals and winning as his most exciting experiences in sports.
