Summary

Biography

2024: Competed for Cal State LA’s cross country team in the fall and was one of the team’s top runners in her first year with the program. Was one of only three runners to compete in all six races. Had a best 5,000-meter time of 20:44.7 at the Biola Invitational and a best 6,000-meter time of 24:39.7 at the Highlander Invitational at UC Riverside. Finished 92nd in the CCAA Championships and 177th at the NCAA West Regional. Also had a strong debut with Cal State LA’s track and field team in the spring (2025). Had best times of 2:37.11 in the 800 and 5:28.24 in the 1,500 in outdoor track and 2:43.85 in the 800 in indoor track. Finished 20th in the 800 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with a time of 2:45.35. Earned 2024-25 CCAA All-Academic honors.

At Warren High School: Earned the Outstanding Newcomer and Perseverance awards for cross country as a junior, the Outstanding Newcomer Award for track and field as a sophomore and the Perseverance Award as a senior and the Most Valuable Player Award for soccer as a sophomore. Earned Athletic Scholar honors as a sophomore, junior and senior.

Personal: Daughter of Jorge and Maria Holguin. Majoring in business. Enjoys baking. Lists winning her race at the Redondo Track Festival in 2023 as her most exciting experience in sports.
