2015: Returned from injury and had a tremendous second season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Finished fourth in the California Collegiate Athletic Association in the discus and fifth in the hammer throw. Earned All-West Region honors in the hammer. Had best marks of 152-4 in the discus and 176-4 in the hammer. For his career, had best marks of 45-9 in the shot put, 152-4 in the discus and 176-4 in the hammer. Finished his career No. 9 all-time at Cal State L.A. in the hammer.

2014: Did not compete because of injury and was a red-shirt.

2013: Had a strong first season with the Golden Eagles. Posted the best marks on the team in the shot put (45-9), discus (145-8) and hammer (164-4). Finished seventh in the California Collegiate Athletic Association in the discus and hammer and ninth in the shot put.

At Riverside Community College: Won the conference championship in the discus as a sophomore and was sixth in the state. Team won the state championship. Was second in the conference, fifth in the regionals and qualified for the state meet as a freshman.

At Corona High School: Competed in football and track and field. Won a league championship in the discus as a senior and was a Scholar-Athlete. Team won a league championship in track in 2007. Earned All-League honors in track and field and football and All-Academic honors in both sports. Was the Thrower of the Year in track and the school record-holder in the discus.

Personal: Son of Carrie Evans. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys outdoor activities and general fitness. Lists breaking the school record in the discus in high school and winning the team state championship at RCC as his most exciting experiences in sports.
