2015: Had a good season once again for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Had best marks of 23.69 in the 200 meters and 51.48 in the 400. Finished 10th in the 400 at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. For his career, had best marks of 11.90 in the 100, 23.69 in the 200 and 51.48 in the 400.

2014: Had another strong season for the Golden Eagles. Had best marks of 23.92 in the 200 and 51.86 in the 400. Competed in the 200 and 400 at the CCAA Championships.

2013: Competed well for a second season with the Golden Eagles. Recorded best times of 24.60 in the 200 and 52.41 in the 400.

2012: Had a solid first season with the Golden Eagles in the sprints. Recorded best times of 11.90 in the 100 and 24.05 in the 200. Also posted a best time of 51.82 in the 400.

At Belmont High School: Competed in track and field and football. Was a two-time recipient of the Outstanding Sprinter Award.

Personal: Son of Candido Barrientos and Rosa Cruz. Majoring in fire protection. Enjoys working out. Lists setting a personal best as his most exciting experience in sports.
