CARSON -- Cal State LA's men's soccer team recorded its third straight tie on Saturday night in a match at Cal State Dominguez Hills.
The Golden Eagles and Toros battled to a 0-0 draw at Toro Stadium in a non-conference meeting between California Collegiate Athletic Association foes. No. 12 Cal State LA (3-0-4) completes the non-conference portion of its season with an unbeaten record, while Cal State Dominguez Hills (3-2-2) recorded its second tie of the season.
The two teams will meet in a conference game in Los Angeles in October.
The Golden Eagles have posted ties in all three of its road games so far this season.
Brayden McClelland equaled his season high for saves with five while posting his fifth shutout of the season. The Golden Eagles have only allowed goals in two of their seven games so far this season.
Cal State Dominguez Hills had a 14-8 advantage in shots, including a 12-4 edge in the first half. Cal State LA had a 4-2 edge in the second half. The Toros had all eight corner kicks in the contest.
Alex Mendez had two shots for Cal State LA, while

Cal State LA will open CCAA play on Friday with a road match at UC Merced.
