LOS ANGELES—Host Cal State L.A. recorded a 3-1 CCAA volleyball win over the visiting Cal State Stanislaus Warriors Friday night in the Eagles Nest.
The Golden Eagles improve to 10-2 overall and 6-1 in the CCAA after taking the four-game match 30-22, 30-23, 25-30 and 30-24. CSUS drops to 6-7, 3-4 CCAA.
Luana Cadalcanti led Cal State L.A. with 13 kills and Airess Padda posted 14. Libero Ashley Hardwick had 27 digs for the squad.
Senior Katie Hoag led all players with 15 kills hitting .225 with 40 attempts for the Warriors, while senior Kelli Costello posted 12 and Karly Van Foeken had seven. Ashley Hullen also recorded 21 defensive digs for Cal State Stanislaus in the contest.
The Golden Eagles outhit the Warriors .212 to .186 in the match.
CSULA continues play at home with a Saturday night match with Chico State. First serve in the Eagles Nest is 7:00 p.m.
