Cal State LA Athletics

Morales earned the Wilson CCAA Pitcher of the Week honor by virtue of tossing the fourth no-hitter in Cal State L.A. baseball history.  He held a perfect game going into the top of the sixth, as the Golden Eagles went on to defeat San Francisco State, 12-0.  The no-no was Morales’ third win of the season as he improves to a perfect 3-0.

In addition to Conference honors, Morales was named “Louisville Slugger’s National Player of the Week” by Collegiate Baseball Newspaper.
