Cal State LA Athletics

2013: Had a second outstanding season with the Golden Eagles and completed a two-year career. Was one of the team's top defenders for a second straight season. Started all 19 games and led the team with 1,718 minutes played. Had one assist and one points. Picked up an assist on a game-winning goal by Amalia Arvidsson in the final minute of a 1-0 victory at Humboldt State. Earned second-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors. Was also an outstanding student and earned CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 honors. Shared the athletic department’s Academic Achievement Award (female) with teammate Megan Ollar for 2013-14. Earned CCAA All-Academic honors for a second straight year. For her career, appeared and started in 37 games and played a total of 3,463 minutes. Had one assist for one point.

2012: Had an outstanding first season with the Golden Eagles. Started all 18 games and was one of the team’s top defenders. Was second on the team in minutes played with 1,745. Earned a CCAA All-Academic Award.

At Santiago Canyon College: Earned first-team All-Conference honors and helped the Hawks reach the state championship game. Earned first-team All-America and first-team All-Conference honors as a freshman in 2010 and helped team win conference championship.

At El Modena High School: Was a four-year varsity player and was the CIF Defensive Player of the Year as a junior. Was a four-year Scholar-Athlete.

Personal: Daughter of John and Cynthia Hanna. Majoring in nursing. Enjoys soccer and coaching. Lists going to the state finals in 2011 with Santiago Canyon College as her most exciting experience in sports. Is the younger sister of former Cal State L.A. defenders Caroline and Jacqueline.
