2020: Was on the roster, but team did not compete due to COVID-19 in her final year with the program.

2019: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Started all 18 games for the Golden Eagles and played every minute. Had a 9-8-1 record with a 0.90 goals against average. Made 89 saves and had a saves percentage of .840. Allowed 17 goals in 1,697 minutes and recorded eight shutouts. Was tremendous in two NCAA playoff games for the Golden Eagles. Made a season-high 13 saves in a 1-0 win at Sonoma State in a first-round game on Nov. 22 and matched that mark with 13 saves in a 1-0 double overtime loss to Western Washington in a second-round game on Nov. 24. Made her Cal State LA debut in a 2-1 win over Biola on Sept. 5. Posted her first shutout and made four saves in a 2-0 victory over Concordia-Irvine on Sept. 9. Made two saves in a 1-0 overtime win over Western Washington on Sept. 16. Recorded nine saves for a shutout in a 0-0 tie at Cal Poly Pomona on Oct. 20. Made six saves in a 5-0 win at San Francisco State on Nov. 7. Made 46 saves in Cal State LA’s last six games with three shutouts.

At San Joaquin Delta College: Earned first-team All-Big 8 Conference honors and was the team’s Most Valuable Player.

At John C. Kimball High School: Earned first-team All-League honors all four years in high school and was the team’s Most Valuable Player as a senior. Competed in soccer and track and field.

Personal: Daughter of Matt and Michelle Leal. Majoring in political science. Enjoys wake surfing and snowboarding. Lists winning a playoff game in penalty kicks during her sophomore year at Delta College and then going to state as her most exciting experience in sports.
