BURNABY, B.C. -- Cal State LA's women's soccer team was forced to endure a rough result Monday on the Golden Eagles' opening game of a two-game swing in Canada.
The Golden Eagles grabbed a 1-0 lead over host Simon Fraser early in the second half, only to ultimately fall on a penalty kick in the second overtime, 2-1. Both teams finished with 14 shots. Cal State LA had a 4-3 edge in corner kicks.
Cal State LA goalkeeper
